Dhapakhel, August 12, 2025 — The KEC Computer Club, in collaboration with the Leapfrog Student Partnership Program, successfully concluded a hands-on workshop titled “Getting Started with AI Agents” on August 11, 2025, at Kantipur Engineering College.
The session, led by Leapfrog Student Partner Aakash Rana, introduced participants to the fundamentals of AI agents, their core functions, and real-world applications in automation and digital assistance. Attendees explored the integration of AI with external data sources and APIs through advanced tools like Gemini API and LangChain, enhancing the scope and intelligence of AI-powered solutions.
A major highlight was the interactive segment where participants built their own AI agents and chatbots. They gained practical skills in:
Crafting AI prompts with Gemini API
Structuring workflows using LangChain
Connecting AI agents to external tools for expanded capabilities
By the end of the workshop, each participant had developed a functional AI application, ready for further refinement and deployment. The initiative not only strengthened technical skills but also inspired participants to explore the transformative potential of AI in solving real-world problems.
This workshop marks another milestone in KEC Computer Club's mission to empower students with emerging technologies and foster innovation-driven learning.
