Kathmandu — Samriddhi College organized an insightful session on Narrative Therapy, aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of mental health and personal development. The session focused on key aspects of narrative therapy, including its theoretical foundations, practical applications, and reflective practices.
During the program, participants were introduced to the core principles of narrative therapy, which emphasizes the role of personal stories in shaping identity and experiences. The facilitator elaborated on how individuals can reframe their narratives to promote positive change and emotional well-being. Practical applications were also discussed, allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-life situations.

A major highlight of the session was a reflective activity titled My Bookshelf. This exercise encouraged participants to view their life experiences as a collection of books, symbolizing values, beliefs, and personal growth. The activity served as a metaphor for value-based assessment and self-care, helping students reflect on their priorities and emotional health.

The session was facilitated by Kapil Sharma, who guided participants through engaging discussions and interactive exercises. Students actively participated in the session, sharing their perspectives and gaining deeper insights into self-awareness and mental well-being.
According to the college, such programs play a vital role in promoting mental health awareness and fostering holistic development among students. Samriddhi College continues to organize similar initiatives to support students in their academic as well as personal growth.
